Privacy Policy

ViewPortal is a developer tool for previewing websites at different device viewports. The app is provided by Flavr Web Dev Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14994358). It is designed to keep your data on your device.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us. ViewPortal has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not operate any servers that receive your data.

What is stored on your device

To make the app useful, the following is saved locally on your device only, and is never transmitted:

The web addresses you enter, your recent and most-frequently visited sites, and any sites you mark as favourites.
Your selected device viewport and app preferences.

This data lives in the app's local storage. You can erase all of it at any time by deleting the app.

Websites you visit

ViewPortal displays third-party websites inside Apple's WKWebView (the same web engine as Safari). When you load a site, that site may collect information about you under its own privacy policy, exactly as it would in any browser. We have no control over, and no access to, what third-party sites do. Please review the privacy policies of the sites you visit.

Local network

With your permission, ViewPortal can load websites and development servers running on your local network (for example localhost or a 192.168.x.x address) so you can preview work in progress. These connections go directly from your device to the address you enter; nothing is routed through us.

Children

ViewPortal provides unrestricted access to the open web and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because ViewPortal does not collect or transmit any personal data to us, we hold no personal information about you to access, correct, export or delete. You can remove everything the app stores on your device at any time by deleting the app. If you are in the UK or EU and have a question about your data-protection rights, you can contact us using the details below, or contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
